Care & Support
Support built around safety, stability and progression
Ardenvia’s Care & Support division is intended to provide person-centred support for children, young people and adults.
Service models are described here only where they are operational, appropriately registered where required and supported by an approved statement of purpose or service specification.
What good support should achieve
Good support should help people experience greater safety, consistency, choice and connection. It should be shaped around the person’s communication, identity, relationships, abilities, needs and goals. It should also be delivered within clear safeguarding, governance and professional boundaries.
Our intended approach
We would begin with a proportionate assessment of need, risk, strengths, preferences and existing plans. The support plan would describe what matters to the person, what good support looks like, how risk will be managed, how progress will be reviewed and how families or professionals will be involved where appropriate and lawful.
Areas the service model may include
- Structured daily-living support and development of practical skills.
- Support with routines, emotional regulation and engagement.
- Relationship-based and trauma-informed practice.
- Education, employment, health and community participation.
- Transition planning between services, placements, hospital and community pathways.
- Coordination with social workers, health professionals, education teams and personal advisers.
Enquiries and suitability
An enquiry does not confirm acceptance. Ardenvia will review whether the person’s needs, risks, legal status, location and funding arrangements fall within the relevant service’s approved scope. We will explain the assessment process and any information required.
What to include in an enquiry
A short outline is enough to begin. It helps to tell us:
- who the enquiry relates to: a child or young person, an adult, or an organisational discussion;
- the general location — the town or local authority only, not a full address;
- a brief summary of the support required;
- how you would prefer us to contact you.
Information not to send through the website
Please do not send diagnosis reports, care plans or identification documents through the website form. If information of this kind is needed for an assessment, we will explain how to share it securely.
What happens after you make an enquiry
You will receive an acknowledgement that your enquiry has been received. This does not mean that support is available. We will then contact you to explain whether the enquiry may fall within an approved service’s scope, the assessment process and any information required.
The enquiry form is not an emergency route
This form is not monitored as an emergency service. Do not include unnecessary sensitive information. If someone is in immediate danger, contact the emergency services. If you are worried about a child or adult at risk, contact the relevant local safeguarding service.
Make a care and support enquiry
Tell us who the enquiry relates to, the general location and a brief summary of the support required.
